TRAINING/COURSE STRUCTURE

The training was conducted in a professional manner with the guys being reminded and taught the weapons before firing them with room for improvement if not up to the required standard. There was plenty of ammunition available to be fired and with the course being split to conduct the company training the guys at times had an instructor/student radio of 1:1.

WEAPONS

There was an array of weapons on the course; all were properly maintained.

FACILITIES

The range is in a nice secluded location where plenty of firing can take place.The covered firing point was a god send in the cold weather and kept all students out the chilling winds and kept them interested in the course. The club house is excellent with the wood burner on full blast in the cold weather and certainly keeps you warm and interested as well drinking plenty of tea and coffee during the day and the complimentary beers on completion of the daily firing.

ADMINISTRATION/BOOKING OF THE COURSE

Although the course was booked through the company, having contacted Julie via email or phone I was always kept informed of any vacancies should they have arisen having been trying to get on the course for a while. On confirmation of my place on the course a set of joining instructions was emailed to me and further updates on the weather forecast so as to remind me to bring my cold weather gear.

ACCOMMODATION

The accommodation was first class with excellent home cooked food in abundance for the students, the rooms were cosy and wifi was available to use the internet. J and T were very friendly and looked after the guy's very well, thank you.

VALUE FOR MONEY

I have no complaints about the overall price, as I think you will not be able to get a package like this for the price anywhere in Europe.

OVERALL COMMENTS

I and the guys have had a fantastic 4 days firing loads of weapons and ammunition and have actually leant something during the time we were there. The craic and banter was excellent between instructor and student without overstepping the mark, all instructors were patient with the guys when we made mistakes and gave praise when it was earned. Thank you very much for an excellent package over the 4 days.
